East Coast Music & Entertainment plays at a wide range of venues and events. We perform at Anniversaries, Bar / Bat Mitzvahs, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Eco-Friendly / Green Weddings, Holiday Parties, LGBT Weddings / Ceremonies and even Proms. East Coast was established in 1977 and the band includes 12 members. We play all genres of music ranging from 50’s to 90’s, Acoustic, Blues, Pop, Punk Rock, Reggae, Rock, Soul, Swing and so much more!
You can be sure that with East Coast is fully insured at all venues and events. Our band’s attire is formal (Black Jacket, shirt and tie or tuxedo) unless instructed otherwise. We have monthly live showcases/public performances on LI, the boroughs and in NYC. We encourage all to attend but have live footage at www.youtube.com/eastcoastband for those out of state or with tight schedules. We have been asked time and time again “Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?” Yes! (within reason). If by chance we don?t know a wedding song or dedication, we have no problem adding it to our repertoire if we are given adequate notice. We usually ask that you allow us 30 days to properly prepare.
A band brings a level of sophistication, elegance and entertainment value that is not possible with a D.J. There is something magical about a live performance and hearing a talented singer bring real meaning to a lyric. EAST COAST has personality and a talent for keeping the dance floor packed. The band members are enjoyable to watch, treat guests with respect and play at just the right volume.
